It's a a bit irking...

As an avid anime fan, I am a bit put out by the appearance of black people in anime and manga. Most either look really strange (dark skin, but they have weird colored hair and eyes), or they are only there for a few episodes(if that many). Here are a few examples.
Yoruichi Shihouin from Bleach. Purple hair and yellow eyes? Really?
Valore from Vandread. Cause someone black being born with red hair is natural. Though, most anime hair colors due tend to range into weird....
Simon Breznev from Durarara!! Does anyone actually look like this?
Even Katara...though I kinda understand this. She's more Eskimo than African.
But still!

While I am singling these characters out, it is true. I think it's absolutely ridiculous! I'm sure there are a few colored characters that look realistic that had a good run....
Like Nadia from Nadia: The Secret of the Blue Water....Katara from Avatar the Last Airbender...Korra from Legend of Korra...some other ones I don't know about. Seriously though, can we be a bit more real looking? Cosplay is hard when you only look like one character, and she's only been there for about two episodes.

In Hindsight, I should have know this would happen

Regularly updating my foot. As soon as I said that, my family fell down with the flu. It was horrible. So of course I helped taking care of them...and fell too. Shame on me. Anyway, have you ever read one of those books where the main character falls in love with someone, who in turn falls in love with the best friend? And you always think: Yeah, that'd never happen to me. Hahaha, that's what I thought at least. I will never doubt the word of a book again. While I probably should feel devastated, I guess I feel a bit relieved. Now I know how he feels. Though I do have the wish to punch the two of them....could just be my violent nature.

First day

As is every Monday at my house, chaos reigns. My brothers are fighting each other, my little sisters are yelling, and my even younger brothers are crying. While being the oldest of eight can be fun(at times), it can also be very hectic. I remember when I was about 6-7, and whenever my parents would take us out, we'd hear a lot of things. Usually, they fell along the lines of 'Your kids are so well behaved!', but there was also the occasional 'Wow, how do you handle three?'. I can honestly say that now it's easy. By the time I turned 8, I had a little sister. Every two years after(up to date), there has been a baby born. Except one year, when my mom had twins. Who were born two months premature...yeah. But now, you'd never be able to tell. Those two are some of the toughest, loudest, most violent children I've ever seen. Combine that with their older brothers and their older sister(not me of course) all fighting at the same time, it's hard not to try and knock them out. Really it is. But luckily, by the time lunch rolls around, they have lost their drive. Thank God.
